The International Biathlon Orienteering Federation (IBOF)

is running a World Cup in Biathlon Orienteering.

The purpose is to make an international ranking list, in order to expose the sport.

The cup 2010 consists of the following competitions:

May 7th Sprint Finland, S:t Mikkel  
May 8th Mass Start Finland, S:t Mikkel  
       
July 30th Sprint Czeck Republic  
July 31st   Czeck Republic  
August 1st Relay? Czeck Republic Not World Cup
       
August 28th Classic Sweden, Stenungssund  
August 29th Sprint Sweden, Stenungssund  
       
September 17th Sprint Denmark, Nymindegab  
September 18th Classic Denmark, Nymindegab  
September 19th Relay Denmark, Nymindegab Not World Cup
       
November 6th Classic Denmark, Rold  
November 7th Middle distance Denmark, Rold  
       

The Biathlon Orienteering World Cup is open for everybody.

 

Rules :

The Cup consists of 10 individual competitions. A maximum of 7 competitions will be counted in the total sum for each competitor.

Classes:

Women 21 and Men 21.

Points will be as follows in all competitions:

No. 1             30 points

No. 2             27   -"-

No. 3             25   -"-

No. 4             24   -"-

No. 5             23   -"- and so on...

All runners completing a competition will have at least 3 points.
